WORLD DAY FOR SAFETY AND HEALTH AT WORK 2026
Ostuni, Predosa and Parma are getting ready to host the Riccoboni Group’s three in-person initiatives for World Day for Safety and Health at Work, in line with the global event promoted by the ILO on 28th April. This year the ILO is focusing on “ensuring a healthy psychosocial working environment”, a key issue for reducing risks and boosting well-being. A psychosocial working environment is defined by how work is designed, organised and managed, and by the organisational practices that shape everyday working conditions. Psychosocial factors (such as workload and working time, role clarity, autonomy, support, and fair and transparent processes) strongly influence how work is experienced and affect workers’ safety, health and performance.
The three events organised by the Riccoboni Group will be a unique opportunity to discuss safety issues, analyse the results achieved and launch future projects.
For Safety Day 2026, the Riccoboni Group is proud to welcome testimonials from ANMIL (the Italian Association for People Injured and Disabled at Work), a long-standing organisation founded in 1943 to protect the rights of injured workers and their families. By supporting over 300,000 members and running awareness campaigns, ANMIL promotes a culture of prevention: the real-life testimonials offered by ANMIL will inspire participants to make a real commitment to safety and inclusion.
There will also be time for some recognitions: awards will be given to employees who stood out, particularly over the past year, for their proactive approach, upstanding behaviour and constant commitment to HSE issues.
